Decade of Sustained Democracy in Nigeria Project, and the Golden Age Festival Project (Celebrating 50 Years of Independence as a Nation). The event was part of the grand activities designed by the Dasoul Media Ltd and its sister company in Dasoul II to mark the decade anniversary of Democracy in Nigeria. Other component of the project includes National democracy Solidarity Walk, National Essay Competition – Nigeria of my Dream and Democrat Award Programme. It was held in collaboration with the Nigeria Government through the instrumentality of Federal Ministry of Information and Communication (FMIC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The event culminated in the resolution for the establishment of the National Democracy Stakeholder’s Group (NDSG). It was held at the International Conference Center and broadly represented by the political elite class and other stakeholders in the Nigerian democratic sojourn. It was chaired by the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Distinguished Senator David Mark.
