The Creative Industry Information Technology Capacity Building Workshop Series– Nigeria, an M – MASS STARTER PROJECTS is created to periodically train and enhance the capacity of industry’s practitioners on new sectoral techniques’ and innovative user products on information technology, this is with a cardinal goal of always bringing practitioners to speed on global trends. The workshop program is themed: Information Technology as a Tool to Enhance the Productivity of the Nigeria Creative Industry: Focus on the Nigeria Film Industry (Nollywood). This periodic hands-on training program is proposed to foster a more business–oriented approach amongst filmmakers, by enhancing the quality of scripts, acting, and other technical aspects of Nigeria Film and multi- Media production, making it an increasingly attractive investment proposition. The periodic Four Weeks International Filmmaking Workshop Program is an intensive workshop that will give students hands–on experience in all the fundamental creative and technical expert of filmmaking. Participants will be trained with the best Information Technology tools trending in the global industry space. The workshop program is administered and promoted by Dasoul Media and its sister companies in Da Soul II Group in Partnership with the Nigeria Government through the Instrumentality of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), the Nigeria Film Corporation (NFC), etc.
